Triftsee Hike
Description
The Triftsee Hike is a spectacular alpine adventure in the Grimselwelt region, offering breathtaking views of glaciers, turquoise lakes and rugged mountain landscapes. Starting at Triftbahn, the trail leads across the famous Trift Bridge and continues to Windegghütte. Hikers can choose between the more challenging Ketteliweg (T3) path or the easier Familienweg (T2). Beware, the Ketteliweg is pretty difficult and recommended only for the most adventurous hikers willing to use the chains to climb on a narrow exposed path.
Logistics
To get to the trailhead, you will need to take the bus to
Nessental, Triftbahn. Then, you will need to take the Triftbahn. The hike starts and ends at the same gondola station.
